Matte fine art surface.

The canvas is stretched over exhibition or standard stretcher bars. The exhibition bars are either laminated pine or tulip wood and have a depth of 36mm, the standard bars 18mm ( best for tray frames). The bars resist warping and shrinkage keeping the canvas flat without distortion. Wedges are inserted in the corners to enable retightening of the canvas which can occur due to atmospheric moisture.

Varnishes can be applied to protect and replicate old master paintings.
